DISCOVER BLEASDALE

A Private Journey to One of Australia!s Oldest Wineries

There are few places in Australia where heritage, craftsmanship and landscape come together as beautifully as they do at Bleasdale Wines in Langhorne Creek.

Now, there is a new way to experience it.

Bleasdale Wines has partnered with HELI LUNCH to offer an exclusive, all-inclusive helicopter experience for those who appreciate fine wine, unforgettable moments, and doing things differently.

Flying out of Adelaide, enjoy a bird’s eye view as you follow the sandstone cliffs and white, sandy coastline. Turn left to sweep over ancient glacial beds and rolling countryside of the Fleurieu Peninsula, before arriving by helicopter to a view of Bleasdale Winery surrounded by vines.

From the moment the helicopter settles onto the lawn beside the winery, guests step into a story that spans more than 170 years. Established in 1850 by English settler Frank Potts, learn about early winemaking practices, and how a boy from England came to create Bleasdale – the first winery in Langhorne Creek and one of Australia!s oldest family-owned wineries.

Your visit begins with a glass of sparkling wine and a warm welcome from a member of the Potts family, now in its fifth and sixth generations of custodianship.

PRIVATE ACCESS TO BLEASDALE ESTATE

Entering buildings built over two centuries, guests are guided through the historic winery museum — past original vats, copper stills and one of the world!s oldest red gum lever presses in use until 1962. View the old Excise Office, the 1920s Cornish Boiler, and "Diddy!s Landing”, where the winery!s remarkable Solera system resides.

Overlooking the historic press, the experience continues with a private tasting hosted by a Bleasdale winemaker. Here, surrounded by heritage and craftsmanship, guests are introduced to a selection of the winery!s premium wines — including the varietals that have earned Bleasdale international acclaim.

A gourmet platter of local produce completes the experience, enjoyed at leisure in the calm and character of the historic museum setting.

Recognised as Winery of the Year by James Halliday, Bleasdale is renowned for its award- winning wines and particularly its celebrated Malbecs, being referred to as the "King of Malbec” in Australia.

This is not a restaurant booking

It is not a typical cellar door visit.

It is a private, elevated experience

Guests are welcome to purchase wines on the day, with shipping available across Australia.

About Bleasdale

Founded by Frank Potts in 1850, everything was built by hand — including the winery, presses, forge, and even boats used in the early wool trade.
