A NEW HELICOPTER IS ON THE HORIZON
In Adelaide we are half way through winter. With the cold, frosty mornings and cool days, it is an ideal time to introduce a new helicopter as part of the package of your dining experience coming into spring and summer.
HELI LUNCH has available a faster and slightly larger helicopter - a Eurocopter EC130 which can seat 6 passengers, all facing forward, and, of course, the pilot. The machine is different to others in that, whilst it has a tail rotor like other helicopters (with the exception of some MD Helicopters machines which have no tail rotor), it is shrouded, or enclosed, reducing the helicopter's noise footprint significantly.
And, the aircraft has lots of windows, with the result being the views from the air cannot be surpassed. Just fantastic.
While flights to nearby winery/restaurants, for example The Lane winery restaurant, just out of Hahndorf, Golding Wines at Lobethal and Hardy's Verandah Restaurant at Mount Lofty House will not be affected a great deal in relation to the speed of the aircraft, it comes into it's own when one considers venues such as Paulett Wines' Bush de Vine restaurant & Indigenous Australian Bush Food Garden in the Clare Valley, Dudley Wines Clifftop Cellar Door, Cuttlefish Bay on Kangaroo Island, Hentley Farm and Fino in Seppeltsfield, Lambert Estate, St Hugo and Lou's Place in the Barossa Valley, or Angas Plains Estate or The Winehouse in Langhorne Creek with flights to these venues taking considerably less time.
While not the exact machine, below is an example of an EC130 helicopter.
